English Manor Estate Adds Indoor Archery Range

Here's a fun destination for those who want to feel like Robin Hood: Guests at the Eaton Manor in rural, bucolic Shropshire can practice their bow and arrow skills at the new Olympic-sized (230-foot!) indoor archery range, which was built following a specific request from members of the Commonwealth and UK Olympic Archery Teams. It complements other facilities which include a heated covered swimming pool and large private gardens.

Eaton Manor is made up of five four-star cottages, the smallest of which has accommodations for just two guests, while the largest can sleep 14 in six bedrooms.

In addition to archery, guests at the Manor can hire a professional chef to create gourmet meals. (Up to 18 guests can be seated around The Manor House’s huge oak table, or, for larger groups, Toad Hall can be set up so up to 50 guests can dine together.) Murder mystery evenings, magicians and wine tastings are also available on request.

Guests can also relax with massages and beauty treatments in the privacy of each individual property, or take archery lessons and Nordic walking classes.
