The highly anticipated relaunch of www.caribbeantravel.com, with an enhanced design and search capability, is now up and running. The Caribbean Tourism Development Company (CTDC), jointly owned by the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) and Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association (CHTA), will operate the site.
“The Caribbean will now be represented by one voice, by one logo and will let the world know the Caribbean is here to stay,” says Vincent Vanderpool-Wallace, former minister of tourism for The Bahamas, who currently serves as a consultant for the CTDC.
Driven by the necessity to compete in the ever growing and aggressively competitive global travel marketplace, the Caribbean has come together to create a “24/7/365” online portal that will act as the collective home for all the countries of the region, showcasing their unique beauty as well as giving voice to all the individual brands.
