Flight Service Resumes Between Nevis and San Juan

Daily flight service has resumed between San Juan and Nevis, according to the Nevis Tourism Authority and the Ministry of Tourism. The flights will be provided by American Eagle and travel between Luis Munoz Marin International Airport in San Juan and Vance W. Amory Airport in Nevis.

“Increasing airlift is a vital component to the development of international tourism in Nevis and we are delighted that we were able to resume our partnership with American Eagle in order to provide our visitors with more convenient access, particularly for the upcoming 2010-11 winter travel season,” said Joseph Parry, premier and minister of tourism of Nevis.

The daily flight will take place on American Eagle's Super ATR aircraft, which has a seating capacity of 64. Flight AA 4892 will leave San Juan at 12:40 p.m. and arrive in Nevis at 1:52 p.m. Flight AA 4893 will depart Nevis at 2:20 p.m. and arrive in San Juan at 3:35 p.m. This schedule allows passengers to make connections to the U.S. or Canada.
