Four Seasons will host their second annual virtual wine tasting on Twitter, November 9, at 9:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. PT. The hour long #FSWine virtual wine tasting will feature sparking wines for the holidays, including: Lunetta Prosecco, Louis Roederer Brut Premier and Domaine Chandon Brut Classic. The goal is to explore an overlooked wine genre, connect with wine lovers around the globe, as well as take advantage of the wine knowledge from Four Seasons wine experts.
The four wine experts have more than 30 years combined experience. They include: James Tidwell, the Master Sommelier and co-founder of the Texas Sommelier Association, Brick Loomis, who is credited for the inclusion of Culina, Modern Italian in Wine Enthusiast magazine’s “100 Best Wine Restaurants of 2011”, Dana Farne, recognized as “one of the best around” by Bon Appetit magazine, and Mark Sayre, considered one of the “7 Best New Sommeliers” in Wine & Spirits magazine. They will discuss the flavor profiles of the three sparkling wines, while sharing ideas for pairing the wines with various holiday meal courses. There will also be a wine Q & A toward the end of the event.
For those who wish to participate in the virtual wine tasting, they can log on to Twitter at 9:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. PT on November 9 and look for the hashtag, #FSWine. Participants can also join a live event, by attending at Tweet-up at a participating Four Seasons hotel or resort or host one at home. The guests who “check-in” on Facebook or Four Square from a Tweet-up at a participating property will also receive a bite to eat.
