Free SF Arts Guide iApp on iTunes Features Events

The Jazzschool for Music Study and PerformanceArt aficionados headed to San Francisco will want to check out the SF Arts Guide iApp, available for free on iTunes. The app includes access to information on more than 1,200 events throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Searchable in the iTunes store under “San Francisco Arts Guide” or “SF Arts Guide,” the pocket guide allows users to browse events, purchase tickets, share information with friends and find locations.

Created by SFArts.org architect Larry Larson and application designer Dan Zeitman, the iApp was developed with support from Grants for the Arts and the Wallace Foundation and can be used with iTouch, iPhone and iPad. The arts and cultural information is curated by SFArts.org, which updates it frequently. Eleven event categories updated often range from performing to visual arts, accompanied by images within the frame of the iApp’s main menu view.
