French Polynesian InterContinental Hotels Announce New Positions

The InterContinental Bora Bora Le Moana Resort has promoted Laurence Levy from Assistant Manager to General Manager of the resort. Levy has part of the InterContinental French Polynesia group since 2001, when she joined as a Front Office Manager in Bora Bora at Le Moana Resort. Prior to joining IHG, Levy held several front office positions for a number of properties within the Relais & Chateaux hotel portfolio. In her new role, Levy will oversee the daily operations of the awarded resort and will use her extensive Polynesian hospitality experience to continue to lead the resort and maintain its excellent reputation.

Sylvie Abarnou, meanwhile, is joining the InterContinental Resorts French Polynesia family as the Regional Groups & Incentives Manager for French Polynesia. Abarnou has been living in French Polynesia since 1990 and has extensive knowledge and understanding of the region. She worked for the travel agency ‘Rêve Tahitian Travel’ for six years before joining ‘Tahiti Nui Travel,’ where she was responsible for implementing and developing the groups and incentives segment of the company. With Abarnou’s expertise in the groups and incentives market, she will undoubtedly develop and strengthen this position among the InterContinental Resorts French Polynesia brand.
