The Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival (FLIFF) will take place on Grand Bahama Island for its second year. The event will take place from October 25-28, 2012 at the Canal House, Pelican Bay Hotel. Films made by Bahamians in the Bahamas will be at the center of this festival, which will include the Lifetime Achievement Award, specialist workshops, outdoor screenings, and local film competitions in three categories, including high school, college and independent. There also will be a wrap party and an awards ceremony at the Grand Lu.

Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach in Freeport on Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas, is offering a special rate for those attending FLIFF on Location 2012 Take Two. The all-inclusive rate is $127 per person, per night, for double-occupancy.
