General Tours Debuts Luxury Tours with Singapore Airlines

A new catalog from General Tours World Traveler showcases nine new affordable luxury tours to Singapore and other destinations in Asia. Each trip begins with a three-night stay at the Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore, with private-car sightseeing. Travelers then fly onward on Singapore Airlines to China, India or Indochina.

The brochure outlines five trips to Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand, utilizing five-star hotels such as the Sofitel Metropole Hanoi or the Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor. Tours are limited to 12 to 20 guests.

The company has two privately-guided affordable luxury trips through India with in-depth sightseeing, five-star properties and an option to upgrade to Oberoi’s hotels in Delhi, Agra, Udaipur and the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve.

A new 21-day cruise and tour combines the Singapore stay with a three-night Yangtze cruise and in-depth touring through China, including Shanghai, Suzhou and Guilin. This comprehensive journey finishes with three nights at the Shangri-La Kowloon Hotel in Hong Kong.
