Exciting news for any businesspeople planning a meeting in Germany: Matthias Schultze will take office as new Managing Director of the German Convention Bureau (GCB) on May 1.
Matthias Schultze previously served as managing director of the World Conference Center Bonn, consisting of the former plenary chamber of the German parliament and the waterworks. Schultze is also vice president of the European Association of Event Centres. He has a degree in business management and has held various national and international tenures in hotel and congress management, among others for Hilton International. In the past six years, Schultze was responsible for operating and marketing the World Conference Centre Bonn.
