Globus Hires Former SuperClubs Executive

Globus announced Tuesday that it hired Paula Hayes as vice president of sales. In her new role, Hayes is responsible for managing all facets of the company’s sales operations, including creating and leading the Globus family of brands’ sales and marketing strategies and supervising its national sales team.

Hayes hails from Florida, where she has held executive sales positions with SuperClubs and Club Med, among other companies. She was recognized as one of the “Most Powerful Women in Travel” for seven consecutive years by Travel Agent and has been an active member in the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) Allied Marketing Committee as well as the North American Tourist Council, French Affairs. Hayes replaces Douglas Duncan, who, after nearly a decade as vice president of sales for the Globus family of brands, retired earlier this year.  No one has been appointed to fill Hayes' position at SuperClubs, but we were told Paul Pennicook, the resort company's new president,  is overseeing all pertinent duties as for now.
