Globus Reports Growth in South American Packages

macchu picchuSouth and Central America tours and independent packages have witnessed double-digit growth in the last year, Globus reports, announcing its 2013 program. Globus says it has enhanced its portfolio with dozens of itinerary updates – everything from adding days in various cities to providing more insider experiences and visits – as well as with new tours and independent vacation packages.
“Boasting some of the world’s best cuisine, inspired splendor, intriguing history and exciting exploration, not to mention, unparalleled travel value, South America is one of the hottest destinations in the world right now,” said Scott Nisbet, president and CEO of the Globus family of brands.

For 2013, Globus is providing travelers seven updated tours in South America, and 35 tour combinations, including the company’s most popular vacation, 12-day Legacy of the Incas. Also new for 2013, is eight-day Peru Splendors. In addition to providing travelers a new itinerary with the nine-day Costa Rica Wonders with Tortuguero is priced from $1,269 and offered by Globus’ sister company, Monograms, who is enhancing existing itineraries. Monograms’ independent travel packages range from 5 to 14 days.
Globus is also offering early booking incentives. Travelers booking a 2013 air-inclusive vacation can receive a $300 air credit. And, those booking a 2013 Monograms vacation early can receive a free extra night. For details and disclaimers, visit
