Great Barrier Reef Resort to Reopen in March

After undergoing a recent upgrade, Orpheus, located right on Australia's Great Barrier Reef, is reopening its doors on March 3.

The island stretches across nearly eight miles of coastline, and includes of a pristine National Park and surrounding World Heritage listed Marine Park. The fringing reef surrounding Orpheus is home to green turtles, manta rays and humpback whales, and guests have direct access to all the wildlife.

Developed in the sheltered Hazard Bay on the western side of the island, the resort includes rooms, suites and villas, a main pavilion bar and restaurant, and an infinity pool that overlooks the Coral Sea.

Best of all, the resort only has 34 guests at any one time, guaranteeing exclusivity and privacy.
