Haunted Reef - Mandalay Bay

Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay will echo with rattling chains, creaking doors and haunting music, replacing the formerly familiar sounds of the ocean and the jungle as guests wander through the Haunted Reef's tunnels, overseen by the tiger sharks. There's also a rare Komodo dragon with dagger-like teeth, deadly saliva and razor-sharp claws.

Till Death Do Us Part Wedding Package - Mandalay Bay

For couples looking for an October wedding, the Till Death Do Us Part package at Mandalay Bay provides a haunted chapel. Starting at $850, the newlyweds deal includes 24-hour web casting for guests who couldn't make it to the ceremony. Afterwards, the couple can celebrate at Fright Dome at Circus Circus.

Fright Dome - Circus Circus

Starting Friday, October 1, from 7 p.m. to midnight, Fright Dome takes hold of The Adventuredome at Circus Circus. This year, new haunted houses, freak shows and scare zones will occupy five acres of dark, fog-filled attractions, including gore-dripping professional actors. For guests over 12, Fright Dome will have roaming scare actors, high-powered  strobe lighting, multi-colored lasers and eerie sound effects.

Nightmare on 54th Street - MGM Grand

For the 13th annual week-long Halloween celebration, Nightmare on 54th Street will take over MGM Grand's Studio 54. Spider girls will take to the air as they spin, swoop and swing on aerial webs and ghost bungees, and a serpent-carrying temptress will descend onto the crowd. Throughout the week's events, dancers and performances will recreate scenes from Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video.

On Thursday, October 28, rapper Doug E. Fresh will perform beat-boxing during Throwback Thursday. Following, on Friday, October 29, Vanilla Ice will celebrate his October 31 birthday with a performance. Hosting the 2nd Annual Hollyween October 30, Holly Madison will find the sexiest vixen at the party.

Highlights include the 44th Annual Beaux Arts Ball, featuring performers from Studio 54 and several Vegas shows for an event, which will benefit Golden Rainbow’s fight against HIV/AIDS.

Free Haunted Tours at Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition - Luxor

Featuring items from the original Titanic, the 25,000-square foot exhibit has also recreated the original Grand Staircase, Promenade Deck and rooms, populated by Luxor staff as Titanic passengers and crew. The "exhibit" features passengers' luggage, ship whistles, floors tiles from the first-class smoking room, a window frame from the Verandah Cafe and an unopened bottle of champagne with a 1900 vintage— recovered from the depths of the North Atlantic. The authentically re-created first- and third-class rooms feature furnishings by original manufacturers. as the Promenade Deck re-creates the temperatures of the April evening of 1912.
