Maui’s Hana Highway (HI-360) has 600 curves and 54 bridges, making it one of the most popular scenic drives in the world. The road leads through lush landscapes of rainforests and waterfalls and offers dramatic views of the sea.
The road to Hana is only 52 miles from Kahului, but the drive takes two to four hours to complete because of narrow one-lane bridges and hairpin turns. Advise your clients to fill up the tank and bring food, beverages, swimwear and beach towels. On arrival in Hana they can explore the town and enjoy several beaches, including those at Hana Beach Park, Waianapanapa State Park, or isolated Kaihalulu Beach.
