Hard Rock International has just revealed plans for its second hotel and casino in the Dominican Republic, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Santo Domingo, scheduled to open in late 2017.
Located in the heart of the capital city and in collaboration with All Inclusive Collection, the property will comprise 400 hotel rooms and suites and a state of the art casino.
“We’ve had overwhelming success with our resort in Punta Cana, and are thrilled to continue our collaboration with Hard Rock International and introduce Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Santo Domingo,” said Frank Maduro, vice president of marketing for All Inclusive Collection.
The property will comprise a 23,000-square foot casino, screening room and a nightclub opening up to the main pool. The casino will feature two bars, including Hard Rock’s signature Center Bar, high limit slots, 400 slot machines and 40 table games. A private gaming room on the suite floor will be available for guests with select access.
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Santo Domingo will also have 33,000 sqare feet of meeting space. Additionally, the property will feature a Rock Star Suite and a Rock Royalty Level floor.
The property will also provide many brand offerings, including a Rock Shop, Rock Spa’s Rhythm & Motion treatments and the Body Rock gym. The Lobby Bar, located on the fourth floor, will offer guests signature cocktails, while the pool will have a bar and grill, as well as cabanas. There will also be a cigar lounge and a celebrity-chef specialty restaurant, and guests will have convenient access to Santo Domingo’s main shopping center Blue Mall, the National Aquarium and botanical gardens and parks in the surrounding area.
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Santo Domingo will also include the Sound Of Your Stay amenity program, free for hotel guests, allowing for hands-on music experiences, in-room guitar jam sessions and playlist downloads upon check-in and in-room delivery of professional DJ equipment.
