Exciting news for Hawaii specialists: As a way to thank Hawaii-selling retail agents, tour operator staff and reservation agents, the Hawaii Tourism Authority is extending more than 130 special offers to travel professionals during Mahalo Month for Travel Professionals from April 1-May 31 (which makes it Mahalo Months, but never mind). Deals will include special rates on flights, tours, restaurants, hotels and attractions statewide.
Arrangements and accommodations for the special offers must be made directly with the participating Hawaii visitor industry partner. To take advantage of Mahalo Month discounts, participants must download a Mahalo Month for Professionals card from the Web site to present along with a business card or company authorization letter and a valid picture ID to receive the Mahalo Month special rate. (We hear that to date, more than 2,000 participants have already registered with the site.)
