Hawaii Tourism Authority Looks to Fund Natural Resource & Culture Projects

The Hawaii Tourism Authority (HTA), the state agency for tourism, is looking to fund projects qualifying under its 2010 Natural Resources (NR) Program and its K'kulu Ola—Living Hawaiian Culture Program (LHCP).

Information and application packets for both solicitations is available as follows:

•    At HTA’s office located at the Hawaii Convention Center, 1st Level, 1801 Kal'kaua Avenue, Honolulu, Hawaii, 96815;
•    Through HTA’s web site at www.hawaiitourismauthority.org (click on the link “RFPs”); or
•    By contacting HTA at (808) 973-2258 or (808) 973-2252.

Written proposals for each program must be received by the HTA at its office no later than October 5 at 4:30 p.m. (HST). Proposals will then be reviewed and selected based on criteria designed to address the goals and objectives as stated in the RFPs.
