Hawaii Travel Exchange Marks Record Response for Agent Positions

Response for advisor positions have surpassed previous opening weeks for the application process for this year's Hawaii Travel Exchange, Questex Travel Group reports. The annual event, presented by Luxury Travel Advisor and Travel Agent magazines with partner the Hawaii Visitors & Convention Bureau, reports that the application process is open at HawaiiTravelExchange.com  for travel agents looking to participate.

"We are pleased with both the quality and quantity of the applications being submitted for Hawaii Travel Exchange this year," said Jennifer Fernandez, group show and event director, Hawaii Travel Exchange. "This is testament to the strong reception the event receives each year coupled with the amazing opportunities the Hawaii islands presents for attendees. Nothing can replace the first-hand experience of the Aloha Spirit to help them gain more revenue from the destination."

The third annual Hawaii Travel Exchange is set to take place October 21st to 24th at Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa on Hawaii, the Big Island. The event brings pre-qualified travel agents to experience the Hawaiian Islands during four days of program including pre-scheduled, one-to-one appointments, informative Hawaii-focused educational sessions, site inspections and multiple networking opportunities. FAMs are also available to select participants.

Positions for fully hosted agent positions are extremely limited and applications are being accepted at HawaiiTravelExchange.com. All attendees will be pre-qualified through a strict vetting process including confirmation of booking history and supplier references. Agents can direct questions to Melody Tauchman at [email protected].

Suppliers in attendance will represent the island chapters of Hawaii, hotels and resorts, spas, cruise lines, tour operators, transportation companies, attractions, activities and airlines. Suppliers looking to reach top-producing travel agents with a vested interest in Hawaii should contact Jennifer Fernandez at 718-351-4823 or via email at [email protected].
