Hawaiian Airlines Ranks High in DOT Report

Good news from Hawaiian Airlines: The company was ranked number one in on-time performance and fewest flight cancellations during April, according to the monthly Air Travel Consumer Report issued by the U.S. Department of Transportation.

Hawaiian had 94.1 percent of its flights arrive as scheduled in April to lead the nation’s carriers, exceeding the industry average by 18.6 percentage points. Hawaiian also ranked first overall in fewest cancelled flights at 0.1 percent, with only three cancellations out of 5,560 total flights during April.
