Hilton Worldwide announced two general manager appointments in Costa Rica. Rui Domingues has been appointed general manager of the 202-room Hilton Papagayo Costa Rica Resort & Spa, as well as the 169-room Hilton Garden Inn Liberia Airport, holding responsibility for the management of both hotels. Laura Castagnini has been appointed general manager of the 223-room Doubletree Cariari by Hilton San Jose.
A 34-year hospitality veteran, Domingues joins Hilton Papagayo Costa Rica Resort & Spa and Hilton Garden Inn Liberia Airport after more than three years as general manager at Hilton Margarita & Suites in Venezuela. Prior to his move to Venezuela, Domingues acted as general manager of the former Jalousie Hilton Resort & Spa, where he spent more than six years in resort operations.
Castagnini joins the Doubletree Cariari by Hilton San Jose team from Costa Rica’s Liberia region, where she served as general manager, Hilton Garden Inn Liberia Airport. Prior to her role as general manager, she held the role of director of operations at the neighboring Hilton Papagayo Costa Rica Resort & Spa
