Hilton Plans to Build an Extended-Stay Hotel in Silao, Mexico.

Yesterday, Hilton Worldwide announced the signing of a Homewood Suites by Hilton project in Silao, Mexico. This is the brand's second upscale, extended-stay hotel in the country. The new project is scheduled to open in 2017 in the state Guanajuato and will have 137 suites. 

Homewood Suites in the Caribbean and Latin America emphasize efficiency of space and create a sense of place. There will one-, two- and three-bedroom suites will full kitchens, living and sleeping areas. There will also be work space in each suite. For dining there will be options like a full-service bar and lounge, breakfast space, lunch and dinner. There will also be a pantry where guests can buy ready-made snacks. 

Guests will have to travel just five minutes from Del Bajio International Airport in an area of Silao with strong industrial development. 

Homewood will offer guests complimentary Internet, daily breakfast and complimentary evening social Monday through Thursday. A fitness center and outdoor swimming pool will also be included in the property’s layout.
