Visitors to the Hoover Dam now have a new marvel of engineering to enjoy: the Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, otherwise known as the Hoover Dam bypass bridge.
Curving nearly 900 feet above the Colorado River, the bridge features a four-lane highway and a walkable path for visitors to gawk at the spectacular view. The bridge now becomes the fastest route to travel from Phoenix to Las Vegas and the longest concrete arch in the Western hemisphere.
