Iceland Volcano Still a Thorn in Europe's Side

Eyjafjallajokull is at it again, still erupting and wreaking flight havoc across Europe.

According to AccuWeather.com, airports in Amsterdam, Scotland and Ireland remain closed. Heathrow and Gatwick in London are open but are operating with a limited schedule. As of this morning, May 17, London airports are experiencing delays and cancelations.

Right now Spain, Italy and central Europe are expected to remain clear of ash clouds, however Northern Germany, the UK and the Netherlands will be affected.

AccuWeather.com is reporting that an Icelandic Met Office assessment made Saturday shows that the volcano's eruptions are far from over, with no end in sight.
