Icelandair Increases New York, Boston Service for 2011

Icelandair has announced an increased summer flight schedule starting June 1, 2011 through September 12, 2011 with daily afternoon flights from New York and Boston. As part of the augmented summer service, Icelandair will operate two flights a day to and from New York, Boston and Paris, and will offer the greatest frequency between New York and Scandinavia. In addition, Icelandair is also the only airline operating direct service between Boston and Scandinavia.

With the increased summer frequency, Icelandair will operate up to 200 flights a week to and from Iceland and to all major cities in both Europe and North America.

Icelandair offers service to Iceland from Boston, New York-JFK, Seattle, and seasonal service from Minneapolis - St. Paul, Orlando Sanford, Halifax and Toronto. Connections through Icelandair’s hub at Keflavik International Airport are available to over 20 destinations in Scandinavia, the UK and continental Europe. Icelandair also allows passengers to stopover in Iceland at no additional airfare.
