Radisson SAS Hotels & Resorts will assume management of the InterContinental Hotel Dubai on Oct. 1, at which point the property will be renamed the Radisson SAS Hotel Dubai, Deira Creek. The 287-room hotel will undergo extensive renovations. Parent company Rezidor SAS has two other projects in Dubai: The Palm, Jumeirah (opening 2008) and the recently opened Radisson SAS Hotel, Dubai Media City. The group is also expanding its portfolio in the Middle East with plans to add the Park Inn, Regent and Missoni brands in the region.
