Strategic Hotels & Resorts, which owns InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile, and Cornerstone Restaurant Group, have partnered to open Michael Jordan's new steak restaurant this August 2011. From within InterContinental Chicago, Michael Jordan's Steak House will feature a 7,000-square-foot dining room with seating for 160, a bar to accommodate 70, and two private rooms for 18 people each.
Located on North Michigan Avenue, the restaurant will occupy the hotel's second floor dining room and first floor lobby bar space, replacing the property's former eatery, Zest, and The Lobby Bar. This will be Jordan's third Steak House in the country, joining locations in Grand Central Terminal in New York and the Mohegan Sun Casino Resort in Uncasville, Connecticut.
