InterContinental Debuts in Osaka

InterContinental is coming to Osaka as the InterContinental Hotels Group and Osaka Station North Yard Development Project reached an agreement to open a luxury hotel and high-end residences in Osaka city.

Ground has already been broken at Osaka Station North Yard, where the properties are expected to debut in 2013.

The InterContinental will feature 200 rooms and 50 residential apartments, along with restaurants and banquet facilities.

IHG has six other hotels in Japan both in Tokyo and Okinawa.
