The InterContinental Playa Bonita Resort & Spa in Panama officially opened today. The resort is situated on 20 acres of rainforest, located 20 minutes outside Panama City near the western entrance of the Panama Canal. Playa Bonita features include Bonita Del Mar, a 10,000 sq ft holistic spa, four free-form swimming pools, three restaurants, and 12,500 feet of meeting space. Playa Bonita's 300 guestrooms all have ocean views and offer luxury bedding, rich wood furnishings, air conditioning, and cable television and wireless Internet access.
