Island Destinations recently capped its 30th anniversary at New York City’s St. Regis Hotel with its annual gala to unveil the 2015 Travelers Collection.
The exclusive evening kicked off a 14-event tour for luxury travel professionals throughout key cities in the U.S. and Canada including Toronto, Los Angeles, Chicago and Boston presented by ID Travel Group.
The travel company that works exclusively with travel professionals welcomed the Cheval Blanc Randheli in the Maldives to the portfolio. The hotel is part of the luxury brand LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, which Island Destinations also welcomed as a travel partner.
Cheval Blanc Randheli and Cheval Blanc Saint-Barth Isle de France grace the front and back covers, respectively. The brochure features 125 of the world’s finest hotels, resorts and villas, with the following destinations represented in the portfolio: Asia, Middle East, Maldives, Seychelles, Hawaii, Fiji, French Polynesia, Central America, Mexico, Bermuda, The Bahamas and the Caribbean.
The introduction of the 2015 Travelers Collection was just one of several highlights of the evening as Chief Operating Officer Laurie Palumbo introduced and hosted an annual award ceremony honoring the company’s selection of top properties and travel professionals.
