israelThe Israel Opera reports it will host the fourth annual Masada Opera Festival, featuring a mega-production of Puccini's Turandot at Masada near the Dead Sea, in June 2013.

Set atop a spectacular stage at the foot of Masada, the festival will include five days of opera performances, including Turandot (June 6,8,9 and 10) featuring the Israeli Opera, Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon LeZion and international opera singers, as well as a one-off performance of Orff's Carmina Burana, June 7.
