The 77-room Hotel Raito on Italy’s Amalfi Coast recently announced a unique complimentary summer events schedule from July 13–October 31. Room prices for this period start at approximately $422.50 per night, based on double occupancy.
Activities schedule includes a morning yoga lesson Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and a morning water aerobics lesson on Sunday.
Two weekly excursions are also offered including a half-day boat trip along the breathtaking Amalfi Coast on Thursday, and on Tuesday afternoon the hotel offers transportation to the legendary Roman town of Pompeii, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Also known as the “Forgotten City,” Pompeii is a ruined and partially buried Roman town near Naples that was completely destroyed and buried during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.
In addition to these excursions, other on-site activities include a ceramic class Wednesday afternoon, where guests can create their own Vietri sul Mare souvenir, and a Friday evening dinner.
In April, the Hotel Raito earned the International Five Diamond Award by the American Academy of Hospitality Services. The Amalfi Coast was also listed as the top romantic walking tour destination in all of Italy.
