Oscar Fitch, CEO of the Mexico Tourism Board met Friday with Dave Barger, JetBlue Airways  CEO and Rob Land, Senior Vice President of Government Affairs, in the MTB offices in New York City to discuss new flights from the United Stated to Mexico. New routes discussed included New York-Guadalajara, Orlando-Guadalajara, Orlando-Monterrey, Washington D.C.–Mexico City and New York–Toluca.

The flight to Toluca would give consumers the opportunity to connect with Mexico’s low-cost airlines which all fly out of this airport. After meeting with JetBlue, Fitch also met with Elyse Elkin, Travel Impressions’ Vice-president for Latin America. Travel Impressions reported a 20 percent increase in sales to Mexico in general and a 28.5 increase to Cancun.
