Kapalua Adventures Mountain Outpost Swings into Action

This January, Maui’s Kapalua Resort will open Kapalua Adventures Mountain Outpost, a new venue for outdoor-adventure featuring a 2,200 feet zipline, the largest and longest in North America.

Mountain Outpost will also have suspension bridges, a rope-challenging course, a climbing tower and a total of eight ziplines (the longest). Mountain Outpost was designed with the environment in mind and has created an experience that minimizes the impact to the natural environment. Guests will be transported in bio-diesel-fueled Mercedes-Benz Unimogs and 10 percent of profits will benefit Puu Kukui Watershed Preserve, Hawaii’s largest private water preserve.
