Travel Agent got the scoop on Karisma Hotels & Resorts' new partnership with Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN), a division of Viacom Inc., to bring Nickelodeon brand experiences to Azul Hotels by Karisma.
This collaboration marks the first time Nickelodeon has partnered with an international resort collection.
Mandy Chomat, vice president of sales and marketing for Karisma Hotels & Resorts, told Travel Agent that discussions have been ongoing since Karisma ended its very successful, seven-year partnership with Fisher-Price.
“This was the last year of our Fisher-Price agreement and we really wanted to continue with another strong brand that would give kids memories to last a lifetime,” says Chomat, “and we think we really could not have found a better fit than Nickelodeon."
The Nickelodeon Vacation Experience at Azul Hotels by Karisma, a premier collection of family-focused, Gourmet Inclusive properties in the Riviera Maya, Mexico, and Negril, Jamaica, are set to debut in the summer 2015. Chomat says it will kick off this summer at all three of the company's Azul properties in Mexico. Chomat also told us that says Nickelodeon activities will then debut at Azul Sensatori Jamaica, Karisma’s first and only Caribbean property, by the end of 2015.

Exclusive to Azul Hotels by Karisma, the Nickelodeon Vacation Experience will include interactions with some of Nickelodeon’s favorite characters such as Dora the Explorer, SpongeBob SquarePants and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Azul Hotels by Karisma, comprised of Azul Beach Hotel, Azul Sensatori Mexico, and Azul Fives Hotel by Karisma in the Riviera Maya, as well as Azul Sensatori Jamaica in Negril, are designed to keep all members of the family happy and engaged.
