Kempinski Hotels Opens Dead Sea Resort

On May 1, Kempinski Hotels opened phase one of the Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea in Jordan. Each of the 114 rooms and suites that make up the Ishtar Villas has views of the Dead Sea. While on property, guests can use the Anantara Spa with 20 treatment rooms and 28 spa suites, children's program and lounge, and dine in various restaurants. The Kempinski also provides private limousines for guests. By early 2007, the property expects to open an additional 201 rooms and suites and an entertainment center with a bowling alley, movie theater, meeting and sports facilities.
