Kennedy Space Center Launches Commissionable Tours to Celebrate 50th Anniversary

This summer, the Kennedy Space Center will celebrate its 50th Anniversary.

In honor of the occasion, visitors can go behind the scenes daily for the first time in 30 years with KSC Up-Close Tours. Also available are tours of the Vehicle Assembly Building where the rockets were built. Guests can stand in Launch Control Center where the final 21 space shuttle missions were sent into space.

Guests will meet a real austronaut, walk under the Saturn V, the largest rocket ever made, and take part in a vertical launch at Shuttle Launch Experience.

Travel agents will earn 10 percent commission on Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex general admission and hotel packages.  Client bookings must be made by August 31, 2012 for travel dates through December 15.
