The Kids Concierge at the Boston Marriott Suggests Family Activities

Boston Marriott Long Wharf Hotel’s Kids Concierge recommends places to bring the pint-sized patrons next time the family visits Boston.

The Museum of Fine Arts offers an Egyptian themed scavenger hunt. Next, head outside to the Skywalk Observatory with 360 degree view of the city. The nearby Marriott's Custom House also offers a bird's-eye view.

The Harvard Museum of Natural History offers nature story time, drawing classes, dinosaur artifacts and a museum shop filled with toys. The Boston Children’s Theatre hosts children-featured classic and contemporary productions, workshops and live performances such as  The Velveteen Rabbit and Calvin’s Monster this winter.  Lastly, engage in a holiday classic activity, ice skating. Head to Steriti Memorial Rink, an indoor rink that has views of the USS Constitution and Charlestown Navy Yard.

“Boston is a treasure trove for kids to discover, especially during the winter months, when families can choose from outdoor seasonal fun and indoor interactive adventures,” said David Sargent, concierge at the Boston Marriott Long Wharf Hotel.

The hotel holds one-on-one consultations at the Kids Concierge with each child. Appointment are complimentary and can be arranged by visiting the concierge desk. Kid-friendly maps of Boston are also available.

Families can take advantage of a “Weekends in New England” package at the Boston Marriott Long Wharf, for starting rates of $159 per night.
