This fall, Lake Las Vegas will celebrate Hawaiian culture with the ninth annual canoe regatta, Na Alaka’i O Ke Kai Regatta, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on October 23 and 24, hosted by the Las Vegas Hawaiian Civic Club and Aston MonteLago Village Resort.
Over two days, the event will feature two days of races, live music and entertainment at the Aston MonteLato Village Resort, arts and crafts vendors and cuisine, including Hawaiian mixed plate lunches, musubi, dim sum and manapua. Prize giveaways will include a trip to Hawaii with Aston Hotels & Resorts and Hawaiian Airlines. More than 450 attendees are expected from Las Vegas, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Canada and Tahiti.
