LAN, TAM Airlines Open New VIP Lounge at Miami International Airport

vip lounge at miami international airportLAN Airlines and its affiliates and TAM Airlines recently announced that passengers now have access to a new dedicated VIP lounge at Miami International Airport (MIA). 

The lounge, located opposite Gate J4 on the second floor of Terminal J at MIA marks the first time that LAN and TAM will have a dedicated lounge in the airport for passengers.

Amenities available at the new lounge include delicious finger foods chosen by Master Chef Hugo Pantano accompanied by wine and champagne hand selected by South America’s only Master Sommelier, Hector Vergara; complimentary wifi, network access points and a Business Center equipped with PCs, MACs and a laser printer; cable television and a selection of complimentary international magazines and newspapers and showers are available for visitors looking to recharge and refresh.

The lounge will service an estimated 450 passengers every day and will be open to LANPASS Premium Silver and Comodoro card holders, TAM Fidelidade Red and Black card holders, passengers traveling LAN Airlines with a Premium Business Class ticket, TAM Airlines with a First Class or Business Class ticket, Avianca, Lufthansa and Swiss Air passengers holding business class tickets, Priority Pass Members and oneworld Emerald or Sapphire card holders.

The LAN and TAM MIA lounge is set to be fully redesigned in 2014 by well-known Chilean architects Mathias Klotz and Lillian Allen and famous design firm Studio Putman.
