Lanai Triathalon Offers Unique Way to See Hawaii

Heads up, athletes (and fans, of course)! TriLanai and Four Seasons Resorts Lanai have announced the third annual TriLanai Offroad Sprint Triathlon, taking place on Saturday, October 29. This uniquely Hawaiian triathalon will give participants the chance to experience the island from a unique perspective rarely offered to the casual visitor--or even Hawaii residents.

Participants can enter either as an individual or relay team. The race begins at 9:30 am with a .75 km (1/2 mile) open-water swim in Hulopo‘e Bay, followed by a 25 km (16 mile) incline cycle along Hulopo‘e Bay’s switchback road. The final leg of the competition is a 6 km (4 mile) foot race to the finish line.

TriLanai also helps support the local community, with funds raised by the race and awarded to various Lanai-based charitable organizations.

Triathletes interested in participating can stay at the Four Seasons Resorts Lanai with the Stay Longer - Fourth Night Free promotion, which provides one complimentary night to guests who book three paid consecutive nights at the Resort. Rates start at $425 and are valid on new bookings through December 18.
