The Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority, a long-time sponsor of ASTA’s Young Professional Rocks event, has expanded its sponsorship to become involved in ASTA’s Young Professionals Society (YPS). As a sponsor of YPS, the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority supports the association's efforts to enhance networking, education and career development for entry-level professionals under 40 within the travel industry.
“We are extremely proud to be such an integral part a forum that encourages young professionals to meet and learn from each other,” said Art Jimenez, senior director of leisure sales, Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority. “We are excited to be a part of group that embraces technology to grow our industry with its YPS Webinar Wednesday series, soon-to-be-launched YPS YouTube Channel and Facebook and LinkedIn presence.”
As part of its sponsorship, the Las Vegas CVA will hold a seat on the YPS steering committee.

ASTA’s Young Professionals Society is a group of travel professionals under the age of 40, created for the purpose of networking, education and career development. YPS hosts networking events at all ASTA conferences.
