The Las Vegas Monorail has updated its website to make planning visits to the destination more convenient. Launched this summer, the new site includes colorful, easy-to-read graphics and a complete Station Guide with helpful travel-planning information.

The Station Guide was designed to help visitors map out their itineraries, whether they seek dining, shopping, hotel amenities, convention information, nightlife or other entertainment at each of the 10 resorts – plus the Las Vegas Convention Center – which are all directly served by the Monorail.

The website’s blog offers even more tips and information on Vegas travel. Information such as where to charge mobile phones at Monorail stations, how to use the system to get to the MGM Grand Garden Arena, and special hours and offers for attendees of citywide events are available. There are even blog posts introducing readers to the Monorail’s very own K-9 officer, Rony, and offering tips for catching Pokémon while riding the Monorail.

Other sections include:

  • Directions to the Monorail – Simple guide for how to navigate to each of the Monorail’s seven stations within its associated properties.
  • Free Las Vegas Shuttles – For guests staying off the Strip, learn which hotels offer free shuttles to Monorail stations or to drop-off points within a 10-15-minute walk of them.
  • Environmental Efficiency – For instance, the Monorail is the only transportation option in Las Vegas that operates on zero-emissions trains.
  • Did You Know? - Fun facts about the Monorail, such as: Did you know the Monorail has removed more than 23 million vehicle miles from area roadways—the equivalent of 48 trips to the moon?

The ability to purchase multi-day, unlimited ride Monorail tickets was also simplified.
