Las Vegas Is Top Trade Show Destination

For the 18th consecutive year, Las Vegas takes the title for the top trade show destination in the country. According to the Trade Show News Network, Las Vegas hosted 55 of 250 top trade shows in 2011. Tarsus Group's list of the top 250 shows shows that Las Vegas hosted nearly a quarter of the nation's largest trade shows and seven of the top 10. Two of the largest shows, the Association of Equipment Manufacturer's triennial CONEXPO-CON/AGG and the Consumer Electronics Association's annual International CES were both held at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Las Vegas holds more than 19,000 annual meetings, contributing $6.3 billion to local economy and supporting 58,000 jobs.
