The Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority and The Travel Group (owner of Travel Agent magazine, Luxury Travel Advisor, TravelAgentCentral.com, AgentNation and LuxuryTA.com) kicked off the first planning meeting for the Las Vegas Young Leaders in Travel Conference, which will be held October 13-15.

Sponsors of last week’s meeting, which was held in Westchester, were the Las Vegas CVA, Travel Impressions and Delta Air Lines.

Art Jimenez, executive of the Las Vegas CVA (below), welcomed the group at the kick off of the event, which will draw together the young talent in the industry in Las Vegas on October 13-14. Las Vegas tour operators, hotels and attractions will band together to create a stellar event for participants. The Travel Group will work with the Las Vegas CVA to develop the program's content.
