Las Vegas Young Professionals Planning Meeting Kicks Off

The Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority and The Travel Group (owner of Travel Agent magazine, Luxury Travel Advisor, TravelAgentCentral.com, AgentNation and LuxuryTA.com) kicked off the first planning meeting for the Las Vegas Young Leaders in Travel Conference, which will be held October 13-15.

Sponsors of last week’s meeting, which was held in Westchester, were the Las Vegas CVA, Travel Impressions and Delta Air Lines.

In attendance were July Wood and Luis Rodriguez of American Express; Linda L. Correia, Laurie Lis, Suzanne Aresco and Lori Soltan of AAA, Cristy Lombardi of Endless Journeys, Danielle Gigante of Rich Travel, a division of Protravel, Gail Goldberg of Travel Impressions, Art Jimenez of the LVCVA and John McMahon of The Travel Group.

Art Jimenez, executive of the Las Vegas CVA (below), welcomed the group at the kick off of the event, which will draw together the young talent in the industry in Las Vegas on October 13-14. Las Vegas tour operators, hotels and attractions will band together to create a stellar event for participants. The Travel Group will work with the Las Vegas CVA to develop the program's content.  Watch this space for further information.
