The Burger Bar at Mandalay Bay.

After an evening of partying in Las Vegas the stomach tends to do a little growling. But where exactly does one go to enjoy tasty comfort food in the wee hours once the partying is done? Fortunately, this town has plenty of places to quell any craving.

One of our favorite late night haunts is Burger Bar at Mandalay Bay. This is comfort food at its finest. The burgers are juicy and come in a variety of meats, including Black Angus beef, organic Kobe Beef, Colorado Lamb, and even salmon, and can be topped with such delicacies as lobster and foie gras. More than 20 tap beers will help quaff that thirst.

We also love Grand Lux Café, with locations in both the Venetian and Palazzo. From the same owners of Cheesecake Factory, the restaurant features are top-notch ingredients and a wide variety of choices to appeal to every taste. We recommend trying any of the breakfast items, especially the omelets.

Of course, if you’re talking breakfast foods, there is the ubiquitous Denny’s which sits center Strip at the Casino Royal. This is the place for tasty, cheap breakfast specials like the original Grand Slam.

MR. LUCKY’S 24/7 at Hard Rock is a laid-back traditional style eatery. They’ve got everything from French toast to pizza to baby back ribs, and the $7.77 Steak and Shrimp deal includes an 8-ounce New York sirloin steak, three jumbo shrimp, salad, garlic mashed potatoes and a roll.

Those with a hankering for Asian cuisine won’t be left out either. Noodle lovers will enjoy Noodles at Bellagio. This restaurant features authentic regional noodle dishes from Thailand, Japan, China and Vietnam. Sushi Samba at Palazzo has a special late night menu until 4 a.m and the exquisite Social House serves sushi, sake and more until 2 a.m. Sit outside for great views of The Strip.

Meanwhile, the Carnegie Deli at The Mirage brings the traditional New York deli dining experience to Sin City with its menu of overstuffed sandwiches, delectable blintzes and mouth-watering cream pies. Make certain to order the egg cream.
