Liberty Travel Offers Free Air

Riviera Maya

Travelers who book a trip to Riviera Maya or Cancun with Liberty Travel have the chance to get free airfare when they stay at select hotels for durations of three nights or longer. Travelers who book a three- to six- night stay at participating hotels in Cancun and Riviera Maya will receive air credit for one roundtrip airfare per room, while travelers booking seven-nights or longer at participating hotels will receive two roundtrip airfare per room.

Liberty notes the new offer arrives in the wake of the Center for Disease Control's downgrading of a Travel Health Warning recommending against non-essential travel to Mexico that had been in effect since April 27, 2009 in response to an outbreak of H1N1 flu. On May 15, the CDC reduced the Travel Health Warning to a Travel Health Precaution, removing its recommendation that U.S. travelers avoid travel to Mexico.

Certain terms and conditions may apply. For a list of participating hotels, prices and details, travelers can inquire online at or call 1-877-Liberty.
