We’re big fans of Asian spas when we’re traveling in the continent. The combination of long haul flights and bewildering time changes all too often throws the body out of whack. Next time we’re in Vietnam, we’re going to make it a priority to stop by the Life Heritage Resort Hoi An’s new Life Spa. When the resort opened six weeks ago, the spa operated out of a cabana setting between the resort’s pool and the banks of Thu Bon River. The new Life Spa debuts with four treatments rooms and has a décor of earthen colors palate, native woods and a bamboo parquet floor.

The spa’s healing treatments include hot stone therapies, aromatic oils and foot reflexology, and exfoliating treatments using green tea, sea salt and ginger. The signature treatment is an 80-minute fusion of seven techniques, known as the Harmony of Energy. If you’re pressed for time you can opt for one of the spa’s 30-minute express treatments.

The 94-room Life Heritage Resort Hoi An is in the historic port town of Hoi An is a picturesque port town with a unique old quarter dating back to the 15th century that has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
