The Lodge at Vail Undergoes $1 Million Renovation, Reopens as "Pool One"

SkiThe Lodge at Vail, A RockResort, has undergone a nearly $1 million renovation and has reopened with the nickname "Pool One" to complement “Gondola One” and a nod to being the first pool in Vail.

“This renovation marks the first of many exciting transformations to be made in Vail over the next 50 years,” said The Lodge at Vail General Manager Stephan Nicolas. “We are committed to delivering the experience of a lifetime at The Lodge at Vail and are continually looking for opportunities to elevate the guest experience across our RockResorts family of luxury resorts.”

The renovation of The Lodge at Vail Pool One includes two large side-by-side, in-ground hot tubs with a gas fireplace between them; furnishings; stonework and landscaping; two additional gas fire pits; a sound system; heating for year-round access; and a full-service bar and commercial kitchen.

Every Sunday The Lodge at Vail is hosting a free pool party open to the public from 3-6 p.m., with Chef Rudy Williams providing the weekly menu, and will pair menu items with beer crafted by Bonfire Brewery.
