The Los Cabos Convention & Visitors Bureau recently announced the appointments to its 2012 Board of Directors with Alberto G. Coppola Joffroy taking the helm as the Bureau's president.
Prominent in the field of tourism, Coppola brings his vast prior experience as chief operating officer of the Los Cabos Tourism Board and the Baja California Sur Tourism Board to this position. More recently, Coppola employed his acumen as a leading entrepreneur in the private hotel and business sectors.
Also elected to serve on the 2012 Board of Directors is Renato Mendonca, general manager of the Sheraton Hacienda del Mar Resort & Spa, as secretary and Juan Vaughan Redo, director of hotels for Grupo Questro, as treasurer.
The Los Cabos Convention & Visitors Bureau is a membership-based organization consisting of managers and owners from 51 of the destination's leading hotels, who oversee the overall planning, marketing and promotional events throughout the destination. Members elect the Board of Directors annually.
