Los Cabos Resort Community Set to Open its Doors This Year

Los Cabos is preparing to welcome a new resort community to its long list of award-winning properties and upscale residential developments. Cabo Riviera, opening to the public in 2011, is an oceanfront community that will feature private residences, a five-star resort and an 18-hole Pete Dye golf course with views of the Sea of Cortes.

Located just north of the San Jose del Cabo airport, the 939-acre property in Mexico will offer guests 42 private condominium residences, a private beach club, a tennis club, a spa, two miles of beaches along the Sea of Cortes at La Ribera, a deep water marina and an 18-hole Pete Dye championship golf course that will extend the option of nine additional holes.

Additionally, the community will feature the Marina Cabo Riviera and Artists Village, a private, full-service marina equipped to accommodate vessels of all sizes — from kayaks to sailboats and grand yachts.

Designed to enhance the renowned sport-fishing destination, the marina will also include a dry dock storage area for residents, as well as concierge services for guests to fully prepare their boats prior to arrival to the resort.

Adjacent to the marina, the boutique-laden Artists Village features sundrenched stone facades along the waterfront via stone walkways. With fine restaurants, cafes, bars, bistros and village art galleries situated throughout the area, the Artists Village allows guests to enjoy the culture and incredible scenery that Los Cabos is known for.

The unique development will welcome guests in 2011 in its first phase, with completion scheduled for 2012. The final phase will include the completed 18-hole Marina Golf Course, a fairway suitable for amateur golfers to the seasoned professional. In 2010 alone, $20 million was invested in the project.
